At the centre of the composition, a richly decorated blue elephant wears a colourful covering combining green, orange, yellow and red. The details of its silhouette and ornamentation make it the main decorative feature of the tray.

The central motif is framed by wide decorative borders composed of green, orange, purple and red panels. Small white flowers, friezes, geometric shapes and fine lines add rhythm and detail to each section.
